I'm a freelance designer and photographer. This blog is my way of sharing work-related news and links and suchlike.
Printing up some promotional postcards to mail out. A few small edits here and there, but these are pretty much them…

More Victorian styling, this time for the Canterbury Punting Company (temporary website)…

Also tickets, posters, ads and an A4 folder…
Doing some promotional postcard designs for a local gastropub - these based on Victorian packaging designs.
I’ve also designed them a receipt holder - this is postcard-sized and folded in half. The receipt would be stapled inside the little folder which is just the right size to go in a wallet. This design is based on a real bill from a Victorian era coaching house.
I’m quite pleased with these and next up is a website based on these designs as well as some food photography. Love that bit - I get to eat the food after!
Not released yet, but this is the cover design for Scott’s latest novel.

And speaking of alternative card designs, I’ve been enamored of modernist and East German graphic design recently, so did this set for Yellow Horse Productions.
I’ve been concentrating on the day job recently, but have had a few minutes to work on other design projects, in particular business cards. I love to do cards for creative people and companies, because, although branding is important, you can go off on tangents and play around with lots of designs.
Just completed a book design project. For this one, I did the photography, cover design and interior layout.
You can buy it from Lulu now.
